About the Channel
The Baka-trio, along with some friends (IRC regulars from the lemmasoft forums) have decided to create their own IRC channel on Freenode. The purpose of this IRC channel is to be a fun, tension-free online workshop dedicated to the continued development of visual novel creation-related skills. The logs below are excerpts from some of the more meaningful discussions from the channel that we feel might be helpful to aspiring English language visual novel creators and veterans alike. All the logs posted here come with the participants' permissions to publicize them. Some of the logs may have been edited in the interest of confidentiality and decency.

Difficulty of Completing VNs Here, the group discusses some real/hypothetical problems of making a complete visual novel.
Serialized VNs: Yay or NayOne of the first topics set just after the new channel permissions were set.
July 03, 2008 log (The Winning Attitude) No particular topic was set for this discussion, but different views were exchanged regarding the proper mindset to take in the process of creating a visual novel.
June 27, 2008 log: The topic is: "An Audience Beyond LSF" (Refering to Original English Visual Novels and how the Lemmasoft Community seems to be the only receptive audience for our own games. Log has been trimmed down to include only the relevant discussion. Some interesting points were brought up during this session
June 26, 2008 log (Argument Part II): Another argument. For clarification, Sektor is FIA and FIA is lordcloudx. (My apologies if I offended you, FIA. I was in a wierd mood at that time.)
June 26, 2008 log: Hehe! The topic is irrelevant for this log. This is mostly a random argument from out of nowhere between FIA and lordcloudx (that's me). I thought it was worth posting for the laughs.
June 20, 2008 log: The topic is: "Word Count: How much does it matter?" Log has been edited to be limited to actual on-topic discussion as much as possible.
June 19, 2008 log: The topic is: "Visual Novel Storytelling Approaches. How do you write your VN stories?" Log has been edited to be limited to actual on-topic discussion as much as possible.
